Meet the Team
- John Holmes FRSPH Tech IOSH AIIRSM
A Health, Safety and Hygiene Consultant, his career path includes eighteen years service with Marks and Spencer Plc and almost fifteen years experience both as a Safety Manager for a national care home group and independent trainer consultant. John is a fellow of The Royal Society for Public Health (FRSPH) and Technician member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (Tech IOSH) and an associate of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (AIIRSM) and is an Associate member of The Infection Prevention Society.
He is qualified to carry out the majority of our courses ranging from level 2 to 4 and holds a level 6 Certificate in Practical Health and Safety Management (Diploma Part 1), NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health and Advanced Food Hygiene Certificate. John is experienced in assisting care home managers with health and safety policy development, risk assessment and food hygiene hazard analysis. John works in the NHS, Local Authority and Private Sector and is often involved in carrying out inspections of premises followed up with a report and recommendations for remedial action.

- Sabina Beebeejaun
Business Development Manager
Sabina joined Healthcare Training & Consultancy in 2004. She has successfully steered the business to new horizons. With her help we have won a variety of contracts with local authorities and have forged strong relationships with all involved. She also maintains good working relationships with our existing private customer base and feedback from them has always been to a high standard. She has also helped the business to achieve Investors in People and this was awarded in 2009 and was reviewed in 2013
Over the years she has kept up to date with her learning & development and has completed a Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration and is now currently working towards Level 4 of the same qualification.

- Amy Wood
Amy has achieved a Diploma in Agriculture. Whilst undertaking her diploma she assisted with the operation of courses for other businesses. She also has experience in the field of sales whereby she accomplished many goals. She has a great interest in the outdoors and recreational activities. Amy is currently working towards her QCF Level 2 Certificate in Business Administration.

- Diane Purcell AMRSPH
Food Hygiene Trainer
Diane is an associate of the Royal Society for Public Health. Diane has a long career history of effectively presenting information to the public both on a one-to-one basis and to small groups or large audiences. Her ability to impart information in a lively and understandable format to all occupational levels is exemplary.
Having worked as a cook in a nursing home, and catered for larger gatherings, Diane’s specialist subject is food hygiene and she has been a training this subject for nine years. She is able to present basic awareness sessions, level two safe food catering and level three supervising safe food catering. In addition Diane has helped to develop and deliver bespoke courses dealing with nutrition, infection control, health and safety and COSHH. She enjoys delivering courses to a variety of different professions. Apart from the subject itself she enjoys meeting people and gets great satisfaction from helping people to achieve standards required in the workplace. She works with carers in the community, those who look after children as either childminders or as teachers and teaching assistants and an amazing variety of professionals who work in the food industry. She also gives her time freely to assist a charity in the provision of safe food at their seminars and other events.
